Age/Grade Determination
2012 GRADE QUALIFICATIONS FOR TOURNAMENTS
For MGBR events, eligible players must correspond with the following grades in school per each division.
- To be eligible for 16/17s, players must be
entering 12th grade in the fall of 2012 or be 19 years old or younger
(Graduate in 2012/2013 or 19 years old or younger)
- To be eligible for 15s, players must be entering 11th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2014)
- To be eligible for 14s, players must be entering 10th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2015)
- To be eligible for 13s, players must be entering 9th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2016)
- To be eligible for 12s, players must be entering 8th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2017)
- To be eligible for 11s, players must be entering 7th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2018)
- To be eligible for 10s, players must be entering 6th grade in the fall of 2012 (Graduate in 2019)
Player eligibility for events is
determined by their grade in school. If a team is found to have illegal
players during the event, the event coordinator will forfeit all of the
team’s games & will no longer be allowed to participate in events. Please contact
MGBR to discuss your team makeup if you have a mixed aged team and want
to play down or up a division. For events that are done in conjunction
with USJN, all USJN event rules are followed (Memorial Day Challenge,
Indianapolis 100 and Midwest Summer Final)
For MGBR showcase or camp events, eligible players must correspond with the following grades.
- Players entering 12th grade in the fall of 2012 are termed 2012 Graduates
- Players entering 11th grade in the fall of 2012 are termed 2013 Graduates
- Players entering 10th grade in the fall of 2012 are termed 2014 Graduates
- Players entering 9th grade in the fall of 2012 are termed 2015 Graduates
- Players entering 8th grade in the fall of 2012 are termed 2016 Graduates
