MGBR Futures will take place on July 15th for incoming 7th, 8th and 9th graders (entering in the fall of 2012). New exposure event in 2012 and will focus on the up and coming players in the state of Michigan.

The Michigan Girls Basketball Report (MGBR) is Michigan's premiere scouting and event service for girls college exposure in the state of Michigan.

Over 100 colleges subscribe to the Michigan Girls Basketball Report (MGBR).

Over 800 different colleges representing Division 1, Division 2, Division 3, NAIA and Junior Colleges attended an event hosted by MGBR since April 2011.

Since 2008, over 1500 basketball teams have attended MGBR events, over 2700 individual girls basketball players have attended individual showcases & camps, over 12,000 girls basketball players have played basketball at an MGBR event since 2008.

IMPORTANT FOR 2016 GRADUATES!!! New higher initial eligibility standards will be in effect for the graduating class of 2016. New standards will require prospective student-athletes to achieve at least a 2.3 GPA and an increased sliding scale on the ACT or SAT. Prospects also must successfully complete 10 of the 16 total required core courses before the start of their senior year in high school. Seven of the 10 courses must be successfully completed in English, math and science.

Special note - the NCAA evaluation dates for spring 2012 were bumped back 1 weekend due to ACT/SAT testing. Plan accordingly - April 20-22 will be the NCAA Certified weekend in 2012 for the spring.

Special note - no events in April 2012 can use NCAA D1 college facilities for the evaluation weekend and have NCAA D1 college coaches on that campus to evaluate. New rule for 2012. For non-evaluation events any facility contracts done before June 28th, 2011 for 2012 will be honored during non-evaluation periods.
